Dr. Aramenko graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic college located in Toronto, Ontario in April 1989. Upon moving to Victoria, he began practicing in downtown Victoria in October, 1989. Dr. Aramenko has studied extensively throughout his 27 years doing post graduate studies in nutrition, addictions and compulsive disorders, and functional neurology. He studied nutrition under Dr. James Meschino in Toronto and the Renai Sante School of Functional Medicine. He became a fully licensed addictionologist mentoring under Dr. Jay Holder in Nevada for 3 years, and in 2014 he completed his master’s program in functional neurology through Dr. Frederick Carrick and the Carrick Institute in Calgary, Alberta.
Dr. Aramenko’s special focus in nutrition is in disease prevention and longevity. His addictionology certification has broadened the sphere of general health care to include treatments towards cases such as addictions, compulsions, ADHD, anxiety disorders, PTSD, sleep disorders, eating disorders, and mood disorders. The focus of functional neurology is in the realm of traumatic brain injury, post-concussion syndrome, and movement disorders related to trauma or disease. With the wide scope of specialized education that Dr. Aramenko has undertaken, it has enabled him to treat a wider patient population base rather than just chiropractic treatment.
